We are of the opinion it’s a studio work probably by one of Cozad’s pupils at Art Students League. Painted early 20th century circa 1920.

Condition
We have had the painting restored and cleaned and some paint was lost to the cheek and chin. the canvas has been relined to the board. Some craquelure to the top part of the picture.
