Born in Eindhoven, Willy van der Putt was a Dutch sculptor known for figurative sculptures that often depicted human and animal forms. Van der Putt attended the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam under sculptor Wessel Couzijn, before studying at Ossip Zadkine’s atelier in Paris. Throughout her career, van der Putt exhibited her work in numerous European exhibitions, including the Venice Biennale, and her sculptures can be found in public and private collections worldwide.
