Large Steel Case Clock By ELFEMA, 1960s
Delivering from: London, United Kingdom (UK)
£365
Description
This is a really amazing piece. Made in Leipzig, East Germany by ELFEMA (Electro-Mechanics Mittweida) This model dates from the mid to late 60s.
The steel case has been stripped at some point in its life. It shows ageing throughout but is in good condition considering it is over 50 years old. The case has been lacquered to help prevent further ageing. The dial has aged to an off-white colour and there are signs of minor ageing. The hands do show a bit of wear.
45.5 x 45.5 cm, depth 8 cm.
Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
