Description
This is a large and very beautiful earlier example of these longcase/grandfather clock dials. This piece dates from C1790/1810.
As you can see there is some overall deterioration to the finish, some pitting and some wear. Overall the decorative paintwork is in very good order with the portrait in the centre being very well preserved. Vibrant colours, overall crazing. The hands are in good condition.
