Original Synchronome British vintage Steel Case Wall Clock, 1940s
£345
Description
A pretty fantastic Synchronome British vintage wall clock from a clearance lot I bought recently. This hugely aged piece dates from the 1940s.
The steel case is heavily aged throughout. There are some signs of rust amongst the wonderfully broken-up paint. The case has been lacquered to prevent any further flaking. The brass bezel has been cleaned. The dial is cream and is in remarkably good condition, still with a clear logo and Roman numerals, the hands are all in good order. The glass is in good order commensurate with its age it has a little bit of pitting. I have cleaned and renovated and retained all the original mounting parts on the rear.
Overall diameter 45.5 cm, depth 7 cm.
Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
IMPORTANT;
This clock is priced without P&P, to be collected from London SE18 5NR.
If you are unable to collect, no problem, I will pack it well for courier transit. I use Shipley and AnyVan, and suggest you or I get a price from them.
I will help all I can to make the collection as simple as possible.
