Vintage Oak & Brass Office Clock By Gents, 1940s
This mahogany cased clock is a nice version of these Gents’ school/office clock. It is very unusual to have the Pul-Syn-Etic logo so prominent. Made in the 1940s.
The flush-to-the-wall case is solid mahogany. It is in good condition for its age and has been sympathetically repaired. It does show minimal age. It has been hand-finished to bring the life and beauty back whilst retaining the accumulated patina. The brass bezel has just a bit of age. The dial is spun aluminium and shows very little wear. The hands are all in good order. The original glass is in good order commensurate with its age.
Overall diameter 38 cm, depth 6 cm.
Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
Overall diameter 38 cm, depth 6 cm
