This is a very smart vintage Ministry of Defence wall clock. It is dated on the reverse 1972. Made in Britain by Smiths for Braidwood Developments Ltd.
The plastic case is in very nice condition with very negligible wear, there has been an impact to the case at 7 o’clock resulting in a crack which, fortunately, is hardly noticeable. The dial is in very nice condition. The hands are undamaged, but show minimal wear. The original glass shows very minor wear commensurate with its age.
On the rear you will see that the MOD markings have been removed which is common for decommissioned articles.
Overall diameter 33 cm, depth 8.5 cm.
Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
