In the 19th century Ingersoll was the first company who, by the example of Henri Ford, made a production line for watches. They wanted to produce good, pricise and affordable watches. Ingersoll produced 8000pieces per day in 1899 who where sold for a Dollar each. Over the years 3 milion pieces where sold. Yankee Ingersoll Dolar watch.
