Zischagge Helmet Circa 1650. 17th Century Zischagge Helmet. A superb military piece from the 17th Century. This cavalry helmet has a solid skull with a lobster tail to the rear and pierced cheek pieces. To the front is a substantial brim and a nasal guard. The nasal guard is marked with an ‘M’. The piece has some wonderful patina to it and some worn leather elements to the inside.Circa 1650 and of Dutch or German origin this a highly collectable piece from the English Civil War period.The piece is in good condition with only age related signs of wear.
