Thornton Pickard Imperial Whole-Plate, Triple-Extension, Camera, Original Bag, C1905
£250
Description
Thornton Pickard Imperial whole-plate, triple-extension, c.1905
The Imperial was a range of folding field cameras made by Thornton-Pickard in the early years of the twentieth century. The camera is made from mahogany with brass fittings. This is marked as the triple- extension model.
Rarely this camera comes in its original canvas carry bag marked Thornton Pickard.
It also comes with 3 double dark slides and 2 frames? The tripod (only 2 legs sorry. Looking for the third). They are marked Thornton Pickard.
This is a stunning and original camera from the early days of photography and will get rarer to find in the years to come.
I have seen these cameras turned into stunning lamps
