Victorian Silver Floral Shaped Basket. This stunning octagonal basket comes from the renowned Aitken Brothers. Floral shaped with eight sections with each section wonderfully decorated with fine piercing work. The piece has a some further decoration bordering the centre. The finer elements sit on a well crafted foot. This is an extremely attractive and well made piece of silver which would draw ones eye to it in any setting. Hallmarked for Sheffield 1900. Weight 319 grams. The piece is in good condition with only age related signs of wear. 1900, Silver, British.
