Description
This is a handsome antique table which dates to the late 19th century
It is an evocative piece which could be used in a dining room, kitchen or conservatory.
The table has a round mahogany top which is set on a base made of cast iron. The base is very heavy and solid, decorated with the iconic figure of Britannia holding a shield with Union Jack.
The cast iron has remnants of the original old paint which has chipped away over the years giving a lovely aged appearance.
The top has a hard wearing waxed finish which has a low sheen.
CONDITION
The table is generally in good condition with obvious losses to the paintwork on the base.
