Description
A design-classic of the era. A British-made Merrow Associates circular coffee table designed by Richard Young in the 1960s/1970s. Model 341C. The geometric polished chromed-steel base is formed from two semi-circles connected in the middle. One forming the base and the other the top which the glass sits upon. A clear, toughened, slightly-bevelled, circular glass top floats on four rubber non-slip washers. Due to their age some of them have worn down to expose the screw which secures them. I have placed four transparent non-slip stoppers on top of them to prevent the glass getting scratched.
The table is in very good vintage condition with some very faint scratches to the glass which are barely noticeable and one or two 1 mm rust spots.
