Description
This is a charming antique glazed cabinet which dates to the late 1800s.
Made of solid pine it is fairly heavy and solid and can be used as a dresser top or a wall cabinet.
This piece has a rustic country look which will suit a farmhouse or cottage, the perfect piece if you love very well aged pine.
The cabinet has two glazed doors to the front which are decorated with carved mouldings to the top, the doors are flanked by decorative corbels.
The doors open to reveal two thick removable wooden shelves.
The wood has a naturally waxed finish which is very matt.
It is a very rustic and unusual piece of furniture which has a lot of character.
CONDITION
This piece is in solid structural condition with many marks of age and use to the wood. It had been stored for many years in a barn so has faded and aged over time.
The wood has colour variations here and there.
The top front left hand corned has a small filled area and inside the cabinet there is a small hole in the backplate.
It is a very rustic and well aged piece.
You will need to add brackets to the back if you wish to fix it to the wall.
