G Plan Librenza range Bookcase

Description

A stunning piece of vintage and mid-century furniture in a teak shelving unit by G Plan furniture. The bookcase consists of a total of three teak shelves with two large shelves at the base and middle and a smaller shelf to the top with a further storage compartment within the base shelf, each shelf is supported by two brass poles that run through each of them and brass cross stretchers. The bookcase has a super stylized ebonised frame and ebonised back board while to the base the cabinet sits on four brass adjustable feet. The bookshelves have been hand crafted by G Plan furniture and comes from there Librenza range released in 1958 with the unit having the gold embossed G Plan logo underneath the top shelf. The bookcase is a practical piece of mid-century furniture and can be used as a bookcase or for display with a wonderful atomic look and a fabulous design that would suit any home or environment.
