18th Century French Walnut Three Drawer Commode

Description
A beautiful piece of furniture, this 18th century walnut commode in the Louis XV style has the character and patina of long use. The three drawers have some lovely inlaid stringing on the fronts suggestive of three panels on each. It has cabriole legs at the front and back, panelled sides, and fluting down the oblique corners down to the legs. An attractive piece of furniture, this is a good sized sturdy set of drawers which will provide excellent storage for any room.
Dating to circa 1780, this is made of walnut and originates from France.
In good age related condition, there are some splits in the drawer bottoms, but these do not compromise the usability of the piece. It has the minor knocks and dents expected for a piece which is over 250 years old, but they have all been smoothed and polished over time and provide the character desired in a piece of this age. There are some marks around the drawer furniture which suggest that this may have been changed at some point.
