A stunning piece of vintage and mid-century furniture in a three drawer chest by Stag furniture, the cabinet consists of three hand crafted drawers with each drawer having superb dove tail jointing and offering excellent storage, to each of the fronts there are two super stylized oak handles in a square design with a hole within the middle that act’s as the drawer pull, to the base the chest sits on a plinth base. The chest has been hand crafted by Stag furniture in the 1960’s and bears their makers mark within the top drawer, the chest has been designed by John and Sylvia Reid two iconic British designers and synonymous with Stag furniture. The chest is a fabulous piece of vintage and mid-century furniture with a fabulous look and design and fabulous proportions that would suit any home or environment.
Measurements W 30 inches H 27 inches D 17
Condition The chest is in superb condition made of wood with an oak veneer, the chest has been hand sanded back to the original wood then French polished and waxed to help preserve the beautiful rich colour of the cabinet.

My names Mark and after some twenty plus years working within retail management I wanted to work a job that gave me a sense of achievement and accomplishment. Ive always had an interest and passion for furniture and wanted to gain more knowledge this teamed with my creative eccentric side led me to create Tallboy Furniture. I love all forms of furniture from vintage to retro to mid century modern, and find nothing better than spending my days restoring pieces of furniture that people have forgotten about and giving them the tender loving care to bring them back to there former glory. I love the story that a cabinet can tell and wonder if they could only talk the stories and adventures some pieces must of been on. The pieces I have listed all have time and care and love put into them and all of my listings are perfect and never leave my workshop unless otherwise. I pride myself on my quality of work and find nothing more satisfying than placing one of my pieces in a new home where its treasured and adored to take pride and place and to be used for it’s intended purpose.
My furniture has been chosen to appear in the World of Interior magazine and has also been featured on the series of 60 Minute Makeover, with the designer Linda Barker hand choosing a stunning vintage chest of drawers to appear in the show and be the centre piece of her design. It’s an amazing achievement to now be recognised as an official supplier to 60 Minute Makeover.
