This low chest of drawers was designed during the 1960s by Erik Brouer for the Danish manufacturer Brouer Møbelfabrik. It is finished of precious rosewood wood characterized by rich graining and a deep shade of brown. The cabinet has six wide drawers. Beveled edges or wooden, geometric handles are classic details that affect the aesthetics of the design. The base consists of low wooden legs. The clean, expressive form of the furniture, high-quality materials and functionality is a showcase of Danish design from the Mid-Century Modern era.
Brouer Møbelfabrik is a famous Danish manufacture founded by Erik Brouer in the 1960s. Elegant rosewood furniture, designed with great care, is the hallmark of the company. Several items under the BM banner were designed by Arne Vodder. To this day, this kind of furniture enjoys success and interest at vintage auctions.
The chest of drawers is in original vintage condition. It has minor traces of age, scrapes and a natural patina.
