A stunning piece of vintage and mid century furniture in a Danish cabinet by Uldum Møbelfabrik. The cabinet consists of a super stylized teak cupboard with two doors to the front, inside there is a single shelf with the shelf fully adjustable and can be moved to your desired height. The cabinet has been hand crafted by Uldum Møbelfabrik and has there makers mark within the cupboard. Danish furniture manufacturer Uldum Møbelfabrik have worked with many of the leading designers of Scandinavian design. They include the mid-century work of Danish designer Johannes Andersen, renowned for his sophisticated use of high-quality wood. Andersen’s designs with Uldum Møbelfabrik maximised functionality without sacrificing a sense of fluidity in their shape. The cabinet is a beautiful and practical piece of mid century furniture with a wonderful look and design that would suit any home or environment

Condition The cabinet is in superb condition made of solid wood with a teak veneer. The cupboard has have hand sanded to the original wood then waxed and French polished.

My names Mark and after some twenty plus years working within retail management I wanted to work a job that gave me a sense of achievement and accomplishment. Ive always had an interest and passion for furniture and wanted to gain more knowledge this teamed with my creative eccentric side led me to create Tallboy Furniture. I love all forms of furniture from vintage to retro to mid century modern, and find nothing better than spending my days restoring pieces of furniture that people have forgotten about and giving them the tender loving care to bring them back to there former glory. I love the story that a cabinet can tell and wonder if they could only talk the stories and adventures some pieces must of been on. The pieces I have listed all have time and care and love put into them and all of my listings are perfect and never leave my workshop unless otherwise. I pride myself on my quality of work and find nothing more satisfying than placing one of my pieces in a new home where its treasured and adored to take pride and place and to be used for it’s intended purpose.
My furniture has been chosen to appear in the World of Interior magazine and has also been featured on the series of 60 Minute Makeover, with the designer Linda Barker hand choosing a stunning vintage chest of drawers to appear in the show and be the centre piece of her design. It’s an amazing achievement to now be recognised as an official supplier to 60 Minute Makeover.
I’m also able to offer restoration of furniture and also do commission pieces.
