Description
Antique oak very heavy / solid sideboard having a gallery back with a central mirror and flanked by two cupboards over a large sideboard having a central cupboard which encloses a long drawer over a dog kennel.
This is flanked by two short drawers either side and a lower cupboard. The left hand cupboard encloses a deep base drawer.
The sideboard has carvings to the door panels and the drawers are furnished with drop down ornate brass handles. This old girl has been well used and could probably do with either re polishing or painting – unless you’re into the ‘distressed’ look – see photos.
There is evidence of historic worm which is inactive – and we have treated also!
This is a very big, extremely heavy imposing piece. The top part does seperate from the sideboard!
This piece could be re purposed as a kitchen unit or equally could be used as a vanity unit if a sink / sinks were sunk into the top…. It might also make a lovely bar!!! The choice is yours!
