Mid Century Danish Style Sideboard
£710
Description
A beautiful mid-century sideboard with mellow tones and a fabulous grain to the wood. Made in the 1960s by Scandart Furniture Company, a British furniture maker based in High Wycombe England who designed wonderful Mid Century Danish-style furniture with a Scandinavian influence and with a British twist.
This is a fabulous example of their style and craftsmanship; clean lines allow the beautiful grain of the golden Elm to shine. The overhanging top and low tapered legs, set well in from the sides, lend the design its lightness and elegance, akin to the Danish design of this period.
This sideboard would be the perfect finishing touch to the retro, mid-century-inspired living area but would equally work well in the more modern interior due to its timeless design.
In very good vintage condition. We have carefully stripped and refinished this piece with Danish oil. There is a small patch on the top that is slightly lighter than the rest but this is only noticeable in some lights/angles. It can be assessed from the images and we are confident that it does not affect the overall aesthetic and quality of this piece.
