1970s Italian Willy Rizzo Cocktail Coffee Table

Description

1970s, Italian, Willy Rizzo for Cidue, rectangular extendable coffee table with a concealed dry bar within it.  This well made, stylish and functional coffee table is made with a glossy brown with gold flecks laminate surface with contrasting solid brown laminate on the sides and on the plinth base.  The corners and sides are all edged with golden chrome edging.  Both sides of the coffee table pull open equally to reveal the stainless steel bar space inside where bottles, glasses and cocktail shakers can be stored for their future use during parties or a quiet night in.  It’s camp and fun to have a grand reveal when you pull it open to reveal what’s inside.  The laminated top makes it easy to wipe clean when drinks are being made or spilt.

The table is in good vintage condition with some age related wear to the chrome and indentations in places. I have recently replaced the glass top after one side was smashed in the shop when a vase was knocked onto it.  The brown glass top is therefore perfect.
