Description
This gorgeous rosewood coffee table was designed by Johannes Andersen for C.F.C. Silkebørg and manufactured in Denmark during the 1960s. It is model number 283. This series of tables was one of Andersen’s most popular. The unique construction techniques and quality materials showcase the designer’s unique style. The bevelled edges of the legs and tabletop soften the feel of the piece and are the highlight of the design. The unique joining of the legs to the tabletop is also noteworthy. The rosewood employed in this example is outstanding and has some magnificent grain patterns.
