Description
Extravagant gilt console table of modest proportions. Featuring a highly decorative giltwood frame and suitably striking white marble top. Displaying floral swags that lead to a central portrait in profile of a feminine head, continuing the decoration below a vase of flowers join the base of the legs with garlands exuding timeless luxury and elegance.
In a good age related condition, however due to it’s age there are some imperfections such as light scratches to the surface, and cracks to the gilt notably around the portrait in profile as shown. A fine example of a giltwood console table with classic antique allure.
Some assembly is required.
Originates from France, dated as mid 19th Century circa 1850. Made with giltwood and marble.
