Antique French Chestnut Provençal Refectory Farmhouse Dining Table, c 1820
Original and superb solid chestnut French farmhouse table, dating from the early 1800s. Exceptional colour and patination throughout the piece. Thick chestnut plank top, with one cleated end. One large end frieze and one side frieze drawer, turned walnut knobs.
Farmhouse leg base with single stretcher, displaying excellent signs of wear, commensurate with age. All in all a really lovely example.
