Ilmari Tapiovaara Pine Table, 1960s
Delivering from: Glasgow, United Kingdom (UK)
£350
Description
Small kitchen/workshop table, in rich honeyed pine, designed by Ilamri Tapiovaara for Laukaan Puu, Finland 1963. Typical Tapiovaara table top of pine block split into two, separated by visible dowels and floating above the frame in a similar manner. Square legs rise through cutaways at each corner to end flush with the top. An excellent neat size. A very special piece.
A well-used pre-loved table, showing signs of wear and tear. One end of the frame has split but the table is still stable and functional. The condition of this designer piece is reflected in the price.
