Aesthetic octagonal parquetry inlaid table with a geometric top surface and decorative base with legs and a ‘crosshatch’ spindle pot shelf. Towards the top of the item there is a chisel carved design which runs around the edge of the top and just below. Each leg and spindle has been turned adding some more decorative elements to the item.
In good condition overall with some signs of previous woodworm and uneven inlay to the top surface.
Originates from the UK.
Dated to the late 19th Century as late Victorian, circa 1880 – 1900’s.
Made from mixed wood.
