This is a useful antique table which dates to the early 20th century.
Made of pine with a thick layered plywood top this fairly compact table is ideal for use in a kitchen, dining room or workshop, its size well suited to a home with limited space. With the addition of a set of mismatched chairs the table will make a nice setting for cozy kitchen meals.
The table is very simply styled with large turned legs, a rectangular top and a single wide drawer to one side which is finished with a cup handle. The table top looks to have been replaced at some point with thick layered plywood which has been refinished with dark stain and wax.
The base of the table has a fantastically well aged old painted blue finish which has chipped off over the years.
CONDITION
The table is in solid structural condition with quite a few shrinkage cracks to the legs.
