Description
A sturdy and well constructed coffee or side table in the modernist Heals style, this circular limed oak piece has a removable plate glass top and stands on two stretchered leg supports with curved corners. It has a planked top with an attractive grain and is a good solid item of furniture. This is a useful piece of a good size which will look well in a 20th century modern interior.
Dating to the 1930s, this is made of limed oak and originates from England.
In sturdy age related condition, this has the signs of wear commensurate with its age, with some minor scuffs. There has been some restoration on one of the seams between the planks. The plate glass top is in good condition, without chips.
