Stunning Kingwood and Tulipwood French XVI-style writing table/secretary table.
With a lovely white marble top surrounding a gilt gallery and a good quality inlay of flowers.
Adorned by bronze foliolate ormolu mounts. on the legs.
Tooled leather desk 3 pigeon-hole storage and three exquisite kingwood drawers.
This bonheur du jour has a lovely steel safe to keep all those secrets safe.
All locks are original and working and have the keys.
The brass feet have been replaced.
Condition
average antique condition, with few scratches and some inlay missing, and historic restoration to the rear of the leg. Please see all photos as they form part of the description.
