1950s Italian Curved Armchair With Brass Conical Legs

1950s original Italian Tub armchair with wonderful curved lines and splayed, tapered, polished brass legs in the style of Marco Zanuso. Very comfortable and newly reupholstered in white boucle. The armchair is designed for comfort with heavily padded arms and back. Two upholstered piped lines from the rear of the seat over the back help to emphasise the armchairs curved  lines.

A wonderful chair. I have another which is the same shape and has been reupholstered in the same style but it’s slightly different in size and the polished brass legs are of a different design. However, they could be used as a slightly different pair especially if they’re not positioned close together. This version has a slightly higher seat compared to the other by approximately 2 cm. I have included some images of the two of them together.

In very good vintage condition with some small age-related dents to the brass and some discolouration.
