Description
A fine 1930’s super-stylish armchair, designed by the renowned czech modernist Jindrich Halabala.
Dating from the 1950s this is an excellent example of the mid century look: simple, flowing lines and extravagantly swooping, steam-bent arms.
This piece has been fully restored from the bare bones.
Re-sprung with all new fillings and padding.
Beech wood arms and legs have been stripped, stained and waxed.
Ready to go for another eighty years.
Fabric is pure wool from Abraham Moon in pillar box red, soft to the touch yet strong and durable.
Dimensions: H 33, W 24, D 34, seat 17 inches.
