Description
This high modernist lounge chair was produced by the Danish manufactory Durup Polstermøbelfabrik during the 1970s. The frame is made of solid wood in a warm shade of brown. It has three resilient, loosely placed cushions. They are upholstered with a thick, woolen fabrick on beige and white light stripes. The high backrest, wide seat and comfortable armrests contribute to the comfort of use. The armchair is perfect for relaxation and the color combination of the materials used reflects the aesthetics of Scandinavian design from a Mid-Century Modern era.
The armchair is in original vintage condition. It has traces of age, scratches and a natural patina. The seat is at a height of 43 cm.
