This elegant GM-5 modernist armchair was designed by Svenda Åge Eriksen for the Danish manufacturer Glostrup Møbelfabrik during the 1960s. This armchair comes from the first years of production. It has a solid teak frame (Bangkok Teak) and carved armrests that showcase the craftsmanship of the entire design. This armchair has a clear, certain shape. It has two loose cushions in natural leather with an original patina. The chair can be admired from any angle. It is a classic of Danish design from the Mid-Century Modern era.
This armchair is in original vintage condition. It has signs of wear due to age and a natural patina.
