Description
A fabulous, high quality, late 1980’s Barcelona style lounge chair. The cushions are upholstered in cream coloured natural (real) leather and all leather straps are intact. The straps have been replaced at some point in the chairs life so there is a colour difference between those on the seat and those on the back (they are whiter on the back). The replacement straps do not have the original press stud fittings to secure the cushion to the back but this does not seem to affect the functionality of the chair as the design of the frame means that the back is at such an angle as to stop the cushion falling forward. All buttons are in place, one is a slightly different shade to the rest but only on close inspection and could either be because it is a replacement or just because it has aged differently.
The chrome frame is both elegant and sturdy and in excellent condition with no pitting
Condition is good, as with all vintage pieces that have been pre-loved their may be some age related scuffs and marks. Please study the description and photos for a good representation and accept, as we do, that this is all part of its story and history.
