Description
The gorgeous burnt orange velvet deep buttoned upholstery on this pair of Victorian carved chairs will bring a colour pop to any home and will complement an opulent period interior. Their attractive carved rosewood frames have a lovely flower design on the crest, with cabriole front legs finishing in carved ball feet. As a talking point, these might also provide an interesting style contrast for a mid century modern 1970s scheme where this luxuriant colour is often the focus.
Dating to the mid 19th century, these are made of rosewood and originate from England.
In good age related condition, the upholstery has been recently replaced. There are some unobtrusive slight chips to the carving, along with the minor marks, discolouration and wear consistent with long use. They are sturdy and ready for the home.
