Description
A beautifully made table with interesting joint detail. A classic design side or coffee table with an underlying shelf made from woven cane which is still very much in tact. Designed by Severin Hansen and manufactured by Haslev Furniture during the 1950s.
A highly functional table with a beautiful deep patina to its grain which has been enhanced with a slightly darker finish. The shelf space beneath is a perfect place to store magazines, books and other items used on a day to day basis. The shelf is suspended between the legs and is made from cane woven around the wooden frame on all four sides. The corners each have a 45 degree detail where the square tapered legs meet the table top. In very good vintage condition. The table has been refinished and waxed.
