Vintage Synchronome Wall Clock, 1940s
£345
Description
A pretty fantastic Synchronome British vintage wall clock. This hugely aged piece dates from the 1940s.
The steel case is heavily aged throughout. There are some signs of rust amongst the wonderfully broken-up paint. The case has been lacquered to prevent any further flaking. The brass bezel has been cleaned. The dial is cream and is in remarkably good condition, still with a clear logo and Roman numerals, the hands are all in good order. The glass is in good order commensurate with its age it has a little bit of pitting. I have cleaned and renovated all the original mounting parts on the rear.
Overall diameter 45.5 cm, depth 7 cm.
Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
