Description
A large bronze sculpture of a stallion produced in France in the middle 19th century. Wax casting and hand finished with years of patination leaving the bronze with great colour. Piere-Jules Mêne was a self-taught artist, and dedicated his entire career to making bronze statues, which were met with great success among both French and international clients.
