This is an early and rare Genalex bakelite cased office/school clock. A far less common octagonal shape and with the early version hands. Made in the 1940s.
The case is in really beautiful condition with lovely mottling to the hand-polished bakelite. the dial shows a bit of foxing and has aged to an ivory colour. The early version steel hands are in good order. The original glass shows wear and some scratches.
