This octagonal cased model is a far less common model made by Smiths. Made in Britain in the 1950s.
The deep bakelite case has been cleaned and polished and has a lovely deep lustre, there is no damage. The case has a nice warm shine. The dial is not damaged, but shows overall foxing and some hand-wear. The logo and numerals remain crisp. There is just a little pitting to the classic Smiths hands. The original glass shows very minor wear commensurate with wear.
30.5 x 30.5 cm, depth 7 cm.
Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
