Gunnar Borg (1926 – 2007) is still one of the leading representatives of Scandinavian ceramic design of the 20th century. Known for miniature, handmade ceramic and stoneware objects, mainly vases. He also created lamp bases, cups, decorative bowls and ashtrays. He started his career at the age of 14 at Andersson & Johansson in Höganäs. From 1940, he worked there for the next 28 years. The artist’s creativity and craftsmanship can be seen in every item. In 1968, Borg founded his own workshop, where he operated until his death.
