Description
Designed by Danish architect Arne Jacobsen in 1967 as part of his Cylinda Line range for Stelton. This set consists of salt and pepper shakers, a mustard pot with lid and spoon on a circular tray.
Jacobsen combined sculptural and organic forms with the traditional attributes of Scandinavian design – material and structural integrity – to produce simple, elegant and functional designs that have a remarkable, timeless appeal.The Cylinda line is widely renowned as cutting edge for its time and is found on display at Art and Design museums around the world.
This set is in very good condition, with minor signs of age.
The makers mark is clearly visible on the base of the mustard pot.
