Oak Side Table with Flat Shaped Stretchers
Delivering from: Newark, United Kingdom (UK)
£570
Description
A handsome 19th century oak side table, this has attractive turned legs finishing with bun feet and joined by flat, shaped stretchers. It has a single drawer which has been panelled to appear as two smaller ones, each with a decorative copper pull handle. This will function well as a side table, or in an entrance hall, but will also work as a small writing desk or laptop table for a home with a period interior.
Dating to circa 1850, this is made of oak and originates from England.
In good age related condition, this has a slight wobble when placed on a flat surface which can be evened up with a small wedge under one foot. There is a slight gap between the two planks which make up the top and the normal signs of wear for a piece which is over 150 years old.
Height – 80 cm
Width – 92 cm
Depth – 62 cm
