Mid-Century Drinks/Display Cabinet in Green by Rivington of London

This unique, beautifully restored display cabinet made by Rivington of London in the 1950s offers plenty of storage and would make a striking addition to any vintage or modern interior.

This is a really useful and well made piece of furniture, having two display sections and in the middle drink storage with fully working lock and hidden behind pull down doors glass/ drinks accessory storage.

The cabinet has been lovingly restored back to its former glory. The top, sides and inside were fully sanded and painted with amazing green colour (it has been achieved by mixing few Fusion mineral paints) and the back of each section was finished with a metal gold leaf to add extra shine and glamour. Middle doors have been treated with oil multiple times to expose the beautiful grain and give lovely shine and once open they reveal a very spacious area for storing drinks, with custom made bottle holders on the doors. The top section for preparing drinks has a fully working original light that turns on automatically when doors are lifted and has been fitted with new mirrors. Both display cabinets on the sides, been also fitted with new glass shelves.

Finally, everything is protected with two layers of matt varnish for increased durability and original hardware cleaned and painted in gold.

This stunning piece of furniture might have some wood imperfections due to age, but it is still an amazing piece that will give a WOW! factor to any home and will be a focal point in any room.
