Mid century White & Newton (Portsmouth) designed by Arthur Edwards high level sideboard with the most intriguing rollout drop leaf full size dining table and four very comfortable original upholstery padded seat stools.
the black ebonised round tapered legs on all pieces make this furniture POP in any living/dining space. ideal for apartment or living/dining room in any home.

This is a piece of furniture that stands alone in the unique design, the table is stored below the sideboard and turns out to create a large eating surface. The four beautifully made stools have mark free seats. Please watch the attached video to see the item working.

This design was created for the young upwardly mobile of the1950s and 1960s and it allowed a full dining room suite to be housed in even a small apartment. The beautiful rosewood veneer used throughout the piece is in great condition. The top surface does have some marks but the patina would be lost if this was refurbished.
