Description
Original Victorian dolls house, this has unmatched metal carrying handles on either side and a door which is hinged to open the entire front of the building.
It has a portico entrance, with pillars either side of the front door and steps leading up. The five windows are made of glass and the roof has been painted with black tiles, whilst the rest of the building is a vibrant red.
Inside, as shown, are some wooden furniture items which include beds, a table, a stool, a set of drawers and a dressing table. The top floor and roof are combined into one room and the downstairs has been divided into two, with a brass fireplace to the right hand side. All rooms show a mix of materials which add an extra level of history and detail into the lives of the children which would’ve loved and played with the doll’s house.
In a stable, well-loved and characterful condition showing overall wear that is relative to age and past use.
