Description
This eye-catching stylish piece is a bright green mid century armchair designed by Vico Magistretti (1920 – 2006) in 1970 for Artemide of Milan. The makers’ mark is stamped underneath, with the model shown as ‘Vicario’, which is a wider and slightly shorter version of the ‘Gaudi’ chair design. It has a comfortable and sturdy seat with a good size to it and is a classic by a world renowned Italian designer.
Dating to circa 1970, this is made of fibreglass reinforced polyester and originates from Italy.
In good age-related condition, this has some very minor scuffs at the extremities, such as the ends of the arms, and a couple of relatively shallow scratches on the back above the right arm. The chair is sturdy to the floor and retains the black plastic feet inserts.
