First World War Memorial Plaque with Papers. A fine example of its kind with research papers. The plaque is in memory of Lance Corporal Samuel Burton of ‘A’ company, 7th battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment who died age 23 on the 10th of February 1917 and is resting in the Amara War Cemetery. The piece is in good condition with only age related signs of wear.
